Polda Papua Held Blood Donation Activity in Welcoming 76th Bhayangkara Day

inp.polri.go.id - The Papuan Police (Polda Papua) along the Medical and Health Sector (Bid Dokkes) held a blood donation activity, simultaneously with other Polda, in welcoming the 76th Bhayangkara Day at the Pier of Water and Air Unit of Polda Papua, Jayapura City, Tuesday (7/6/2022). The activity was directly attended by the Papua Police Chief (Kapolda Papua), Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, S.I.K., Deputy Police of Polda Papua (Wakapolda Papua), Brigadier General Dr. Rudi Eko Sudarto, S.I.K., M.Sc., Regional Superintendent Inspector (Irwasda) of Polda Papua, Commissioner Alfred Papare, S.I.K along with other main officials of Polda Papua and all blood donor participants who were present. Kapolda Papua explained that the blood donation was to welcome the 76th Bhayangkara Anniversary which was held simultaneously throughout Indonesia. Polda Papua themselves are targeting to able to reach the target of 400 blood donors. "For now, the blood donators at the Polairud Pier of the Papua Regional Police has reached 200 people, this number is not included the blood donor at departmental polices in Papua. Hopefully Polda Papua themselves can exceed the desired target, which is more than 400 blood donors," explained Kapolda Papua. Furthermore, Kapolda Papua hoped that the blood donation could be beneficial to the people in need. "Obviously the celebration of 76th Bhayangkara Anniversary will not only be a blood donation but there will be other health services that will be held by Polda Papua and Biddokkes, such as mass health treatment for people in Papua Province and other social assistance," said the Two-Star General. The 76th Bhayangkara Anniversary will be held with the theme of the Police Supporting Economic Recovery and Structural Reforms to Realize a Resilient Indonesia – a Growing Indonesia. "In addition to mass medical treatment, Polda Papua will hold several other Health Services such as Mass Circumcision and Cleft Lip Surgery, which are part of Polri's service to the Indonesian people, especially the Papua Province," he concluded.
