inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. The Papua Regional Police personnel conduct patrol by visiting people doing their activity at the market and other public spaces. In their patrol, police appeal to the public to avoid any kinds of law violations.
“We also invite the public to collaborate with the police in preventing any kinds of misinformation from spreading that may cause public disruption,” says Papua Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Ignatius Benny Ady on Tuesday (1/14/2025).
Benny says that the patrol by personnel at the field is part of the responsibility of the police force in nurturing the security situation in Papua.
“Police higher ups hope that by looking at the security situation in Papua, police can always be present in watching over public activities and guarding them from the dangers. With the presence of police, the public will feel more safe,” adds Benny.
He continued that the patrol is adapting to the situation and condition and ensuring that police are always present as the protector, guide, and servant of the people.
