inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. The police have successfully arrested a wanted man for committing violence against a minor in East Lampung.
The East Lampung Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Heti Patmawati, accompanied by the Way Bungur Sector Police Chief, Senior Police Inspector Putu Hartha, said that the suspect's initials are EV (26), from Way Bungur District.
Based on police data, at the end of May, the suspect was suspected of being involved in the assault of AD (16) in the area of the East Cross Road, Taman Negeri Village.
As a result of the assault, the victim, who suffered injuries to several parts of his body, reported the crime he experienced to the police.
"The victim was initially suspected of intending to break up a fight between his friends, but instead became a victim of assault by the suspect and several of his friends," said Putu as reported by the lampung1 page, Sunday (6/8/2025).
Initially EV had escaped from the police but finally got arrested in Tegal Ombo Village. He was arrested without giving any resistance.
The suspect and evidence in the form of clothes and several cassava stalks, have now been secured at the police station, for further legal proceedings.
