Inp.polri.go.id – Jayapura. Jayapura City Sub-regional Police arrest four arsons of several shophouses and medical facility owned by 172/PWY Military Resort Command in Waena. Senior Superintendent Victor D. Mackbon reveals that the four arsons initial are HH (23), Ew (18), GD (20), and CW (43). They were arrested at different locations after police joint team thoroughly investigates the CCTV record around the location. “It was reported that the arson was carefully planned by the suspects,” continues Victor on Monday (1/22/2024). According to the police chief, the suspects yield that they have been waiting for the Lukas Enembe Burial procession to be arrived in Waena so that they could blend into the crowd. “The four suspects know each other and planned to cause commotion and riot during the funeral procession of Lukas Enembe in his hometown of Central Koya,” said the police chief.
