Inp.polri.go.id – Sukabumi. Sukabumi Police Criminal Investigation Unit hunts down the suspects who robs a supermarket in Bojonggenteng Regency, Sukabumi. Initial reports said that the robbery was masterminded by former employee of the supermarket. “From our investigation on the supermarket robbery case that happened last October 6th, was carried out by three suspects. From the three suspects, two have been apprehended and the other one is still on pursuit,” says Sukabumi Police Chief, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Maruly Pardede quoted from Antaranews on Thursday (10/26/2023). The two suspects arrested by the police are LR (24) and RBP (24). LR was arrested just under 24 hours after the criminal action while RBP was arrested on October 16th, 2023 in his hiding place at Karawang Regency. From the examination on the two suspects, RBP was revealed to be the former employee of the supermarket, which grants him knowledge on where to go and what to do. The three suspects reportedly decide to rob the supermarket just when it was about to close at 22:00. When the time finally came, the three immediately went in to the supermarket and threatened two employees. RBP who has the full knowledge of the location immediately went into CCTV room and broke the digital video recorder to remove the evidence. He then took dozen of millions of rupiah and hundreds packs of cigarette, along with other items. “We are still pursuing other suspect, but the mastermind of this robbery has been apprehended, RBP,” said Maruly.
