inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Drug Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency has uncovered a case of 4 kg of methamphetamine being distributed in Mempawah Hulu District, West Kalimantan. The suspect, Sukron, was arrested in this case.
The Director of Drug Criminal Investigation of INP, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, stated that the case investigation began on July 31, 2025, at 12:50 a.m. when the team conducted a raid planning and execution on the street in front of a coffee shop on Karangan street, Suka Maju Hamlet, Mempawah Hulu District, West Kalimantan. The team then apprehended a man identified as Sukron.
"The team then took Sukron, who had already been arrested, and searched the suspect's motorcycle. The search revealed evidence in the form of four green packages bearing the 'Premium Quality Durian' logo inside a black bag in the trunk of his PCX motorcycle," Eko explained on Thursday (7/31/2025).
During preliminary interrogation, he said, Sukron admitted that Tohir had asked him to pick up methamphetamine in the Seluas area and transport it to Siantan Hilir, North Pontianak.
"Currently we are developing a network related to this narcotics crime," he said.
