inp.polri.go.id - Banten. Banten Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate have successfully arrested an illegal racing jockey in Serang City on Sunday (2/16/2025) at around 01.30 WIB.

The Director of the General Criminal Investigation Directorate, Senior Superintendent Dian Setyawan says that police have arrested the 10 youths at two different locations.

Police arrested the suspects in front of Ramayana Serang City and KP3B area. They are RH (22), YA (21), MY (17), IN (18), AB (21), DF (21), IF (20), SF (20), AP (17) and YS (17).

In his statement, he explained that his party managed to secure several pieces of evidence in the arrest operation.

"We have also managed to secure three cell phones, three ID cards and seven motorbikes," Dian explained on Sunday (2/16/2025).

He revealed that for further investigation, the illegal racers were taken to the Banten Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate and for their actions, they were threatened with a minor criminal offense and charged with article 503 of the Criminal Code.

At the end of his statement, Dian emphasized to the public to immediately report any illegal racing activities to the police.
