Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Education and Training Institute (Lemdiklat) will provide Mobile Brigade (Brimob) basic training to cadets of the Police Academy (Akpol) and the Police College (STIK) to prepare them for potential emergencies and national risks.
“Indonesia faces various vulnerabilities—natural disasters, social conflicts, fragmentation. Cadets must understand policing in emergencies and contingencies,” said Head of Lemdiklat Commissioner General Chryshnanda Dwilaksana during a hearing with Commission III of the House of Representatives on Monday (26/5/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
He emphasized that police officers are not merely public servants, but “guardians of life” who must master legal, administrative, humanitarian, and informational services.
Chief Chryshnanda added that police must uphold productivity and avoid misconduct such as extortion, bribery, and illegal activities. The training also includes social communication skills and engagement through Bhabinkamtibmas, security forums, and a national ‘cooling system’ program.
