inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Warm vibes enveloped a shopping centre in Purwodadi as the Chief of Grobogan Sub-regional Police, Superintendent Ike Yulianto, invites the orphans and elderly for a shopping spree for Eid celebrations.

Accompanied by his wife, Ratih Ike Yulianto, Chief Yulianto greets the children and the elderly who were present.  

The orphans were enthusiastic when given the opportunity to choose their own clothes. With sparkling eyes, they browsed the clothing racks, trying on their desired Eid outfits, and even selecting new school bags to support their enthusiasm for learning. This freedom of choice was a valuable experience they might rarely experience.

Meanwhile, the elderly have different needs. With slow but determined steps, they prefer basic necessities like rice, cooking oil, sugar, and other food items.

For them, basic necessities are a top priority so they can live the days leading up to Eid with peace and security.

Chief Yulianto was seen several times helping the elderly retrieve items from higher shelves. He also ensured that they received the appropriate necessities. This responsive and empathetic attitude demonstrated genuine concern, but rather a sincere desire to share.

According to him, this activity is part of the Grobogan Sub-regional Police's commitment to remain present in the community, especially for those in need.

"Today, we are inviting children from orphanages and the elderly to shop together at the supermarket. We hope that they can share in the joy of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr," he said.

Through this shopping trip, the Grobogan Sub-regional Police are striving to bring smiles to the faces of orphans and the elderly in need of care.
