Police Shared a Total 2,700 Kg Dates to Communities in Aceh

inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Aceh Regional Police Community Development Directorate, distributed 2,700 kilograms of dates to the public as iftar food during Ramadan 1447 Hijri/2026 AD.

Aceh Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Joko Krisdiyanto, stated that the dates were distributed to 53 locations across Banda Aceh City and Aceh Besar Regency.

"The distribution of these dates demonstrates our commitment to share during Ramadan, while also supporting the iftar needs of communities in various villages, Islamic boarding schools, mosques, orphanages, and even worker communities," explained Joko on Friday (2/27/2026).

He stated that this was the first phase of the distribution carried out by the Aceh Regional Police. A total of 2,700 kilograms of dates were distributed.

"Each location received an average of 50 kilograms of dates. Meanwhile, several targeted locations, such as parking attendants and the pedicab community at the Grand Mosque, received 75 kilograms," he said.

Joko explained that the distribution of dates is part of the Aceh Regional Police's commitment to presenting a humanistic and sincere police institution in serving the community.

"Hopefully, this date assistance will help and benefit the community in their fast, and further strengthen the relationship between the police and the community," concluded Joko.
