Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Police dispatched personnel to secure Easter celebrations at the two main churches in Jakarta. The two churches are Cathedral Church and Immanuel Protestant Church of Western Indonesia (GPIB) which is located in Central Jakarta.
“We will deploy 197 personnel from Metro Jaya Regional Police and Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police to the two churches,” said Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police PR Chief, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi on Thursday (3/28/2024). Ade adds that he and his party are ready to secure the Easter celebration.
Meanwhile, Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Karyoto reminds personnel at the field to always be vigilant even if the situation remains secured.
“And of course, continue to cooperate and work together with related parties to ensure the situation remains secure and conducive,” said the police chief.
Karyoto wished for all people to be able to celebrate Easter with joy and without worry.
At the end of the session, Ade states that police would be on guard and serve for 24 hours. “And if you find any trouble, you could contact 110,” concludes Ade.
