Inp.polri.go.id - Badung. Police from Badung Sub-regional Police have found a second firearm strongly suspected to be connected to the shooting of two Australian men at Vila Casa Santisya 1, Munggu Village, Badung Regency, Bali.
Bali Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Ariasandy said on Monday (21/7/2025) that the second firearm, a 9mm pistol with a magazine of 10 rounds, was recovered from Subak Anyelir riverbank in Dauh Peken, Tabanan Regency.
“The weapon is currently undergoing ballistic testing at the Police Forensic Laboratory,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Ballistics tests confirm that bullets found at the crime scene match those from the recovered firearms. DNA tests on face coverings and gloves found in the suspect’s vehicle also linked evidence to the suspect.
The second firearm was found approximately 50 meters downstream from the first pistol after initial searches were hampered by heavy rains and strong river currents.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. One victim, Zivan Radmanovic, died, while another, Sanar Ghanim, was injured during the incident last month.
