The South Sulawesi Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate found budget embezzlement indication in Muslim Indonesia University (UMI) of Makassar project from 2018-2022. On that case, the General Criminal Investigation Director, Police Senior Superintendent Jamaludidin Farti says that the budget embezzlement in UMI project was initially found by UMI Waqf Board Foundation (YBW) on October 25th, 2023. "The reporting party was the chairman of the foundation, represented by their legal representative, the reporting party was Professor BM who served as Chancellor of UMI for 2018-2022," said the \ Jamaluddin Farti on Friday (2/2/24). Additionally, Jamaluddin said that his party has raised the case status level to investigation as they have found the criminal elements in the case. “We will be going deep in for this case,” says Jamaluddin.
