The Indonesian National Police (INP) held a Tactical Floor Game (TFG) to ensure the smooth running and security of the 80th Indonesian Independence Day celebrations, which will begin at the State Palace in Central Jakarta. The TFG was opened by the Chief Assistant for Operations (Astamaops) of INP, Commissioner General Akhmad Wiyagus.

"The Tactical Floor Game is intended to secure all aspects of the 80th Indonesian Independence Day celebrations, including the parade, the reading of the proclamation, the people's party, the carnival, and so on," explained Commissioner General Akhmad in his opening remarks on Thursday (August 14, 2025).

According to Commissioner General Akhmad, the TFG is crucial to ensuring the smooth and secure running of the upcoming Independence Day celebrations. Furthermore, it highlights how the police must prevent any potential disturbances to public order and security.

"We must be able to face any challenges. We must also demonstrate our readiness as personnel involved in security to be among the community celebrating the 80th Independence Day," he explained.

He explained that the TFG aims to align the perceptions of all personnel involved in the upcoming operation. With all stages clearly outlined, planning can be more accurate.

"Of course, we know that we cannot work alone. Collaboration is absolutely necessary in every task, including securing the people's festival and the carnival, as well as the entire 80th Independence Day celebrations," he said.
