inp.polri.go.id – The Head of National Police Traffic Corps, Inspector General Firman Santyabudi revealed that this year the Zebra Operation will only be carried out in 33 provinces while Bali Police cannot joint the operation due to G20 Summit. "So there are only 33 provinces, minus the Bali Police, who carried out Zebra Operations. Until now, the Bali Police are still carrying out security activities for the G20 Summit series of events, which will culminate in November 15-16," said the Head National Police Traffic Corps. He also mentioned several potential laws that usually violated by drivers such as use of vehicles by minors, using phones while driving, and others. "There are also some people who neglect the use of seatbelts, even though the tool is designed to help prevent fatalities in case of traffic accidents," said Inspector General Firman Santyabudi. The two-star general also said that law enforcement in the traffic was not only carried out by means of a manual or electronic ticketing (ETLE), but officers could also just issue warnings to the drivers.
