inp.polri.go.id - Palangka Raya. The Chief of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Inspector General Iwan Kurniawan opened the Technical Working Meeting for the Criminal Investigation Function and the Capacity Building Training for Corruption Crime Investigators (Tipidkor). This Technical Working Meeting was held as an effort to improve the capacity and professionalism of the Indonesian National Police (INP) investigators.

Iwan expressed his appreciation for the meeting as a strategic step to unify perceptions and develop a strategy for fast, accurate, and accountable law enforcement.

"This meeting is an important forum to improve the professionalism, synergy, and integrity of investigators, particularly in handling corruption crimes, which are a serious concern for the government and the public," explained Inspector General Iwan on Thursday (7/31/2025).

According to Iwan, law enforcement must be carried out firmly, while still upholding the principle of restorative justice, as is the policy direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Chief of INP. The state must be present to protect the people from injustice, crime, and corruption.

"Therefore, investigators are required to be not only competent in technical aspects, but also to uphold the values of humanity and justice," said Iwan.

As the vanguard of law enforcement, Iwan stated that the Criminal Investigation Unit must demonstrate precise, transparent, and trustworthy legal services. Therefore, investigators must maintain integrity, professionalism, humanism, and justice.

"Continue to improve competency and forge cross-functional and cross-agency collaboration in efforts to eradicate corruption," the Regional Police Chief stated.

He hopes that this activity can be part of the process of fostering and strengthening INP institutions with precision, while also meeting public expectations for the quality performance of INP investigators.
