Inp.polri.go.id - Palembang.  Senior Superintendent Sunarto, the Head of Public Relations Unit at the South Sumatra Regional Police, addressed a recent armed robbery case that went viral on social media. Investigations are ongoing, with a joint task force actively pursuing leads, he said. "Let's hope for a swift result," Chief Sunarto said on Saturday (16/3/2024). Reviewing CCTV footage, the suspects wore hats, masks, and carried firearms in both incidents. Chief Sunarto noted that these suspects, dressed in cream-colored hats, jeans, and white long-sleeved shirts, were captured on CCTV and went viral. In a prior incident, an armed robber targeted a K-24 Pharmacy in Palembang, posing as a customer before fleeing with approximately Rp 1 million. The South Sumatra Police urged vigilance and cooperation from the public in arresting the suspects. (mg/fa/pr/nm)
