inp.polri.go.id - West Java. West Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pipit Rismanto, conducted a working visit to inspect the land readiness for garlic seedling planting in Ciater Village, Ciater District, Subang Regency, on Thursday (8/6/2026).
During this visit, the West Java Regional Police Chief was welcomed by Subang Sub-regional Police Chief Superintendent Andi Purwanto, along with representatives from PTPN Regional 2, the Subang Regency Agriculture Office, the Ciater Sub-district Leadership Communication Forum, and representatives of farmer groups.
The event began with a discussion on the garlic seedling planting program as part of efforts to support national food security.
The event discussed land readiness, management patterns, and the synergy between the police, local governments, PTPN, and farmer groups in optimizing the use of productive land.
Next, Pipit and his entourage directly inspected the area to be used for garlic seedling planting to ensure the readiness of supporting facilities and infrastructure.
This inspection demonstrates the police's commitment to supporting government programs in the agricultural sector while strengthening collaboration with all stakeholders.
As a token of their concern for the farmers, Pipit also presented gifts to representatives of the farmer groups in attendance.
The event then continued with a group photo session and a discussion to gather input regarding the development of garlic commodities in Subang Regency.
Andi stated that the Subang Sub-regional Police are ready to support all government programs aimed at improving food security and community welfare through cross-sector synergy.
"We are committed to continuing to support the government's strategic programs, including those in the area of food security. Collaboration between the police, local governments, state-owned enterprises, and the community is key to achieving sustainable food self-sufficiency," he said.
This activity is expected to foster stronger collaboration in supporting agricultural sector development and achieving resilient food security in Subang Regency.
