inp.polri.go.id - Central Java. The General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Central Java Regional Police has uncovered a brawl between groups of teenagers, involving two gangs from Semarang City and a group from Kendal Regency.

In this case, police have named four suspects and are still searching for 17 other perpetrators who are on the wanted list (DPO). 

The Director of General Criminal Investigation, Senior Commissioner Anwar Nasir, stated that the brawl involved three groups of teenagers from Semarang, Brakitcil and Anjay 165, who joined forces to confront the Kendal Wartan group. 

"Although there were no casualties in this incident and no reports from the public, the Central Java Regional Police remained proactive by conducting an investigation until they identified the perpetrators and secured several pieces of evidence," said Anwar.

According to Anwar, when they arrived at the designated location, the two groups confronted approximately 30 members of the Kendal Wartan. During the incident, a Molotov cocktail filled with gasoline and a firecracker were thrown at the opposing group before the Kendal Wartan group left the scene.

Although the armed clashes occurred, there were no casualties. "During the investigation, we found nine machetes hidden in an abandoned house near a food stall in the Semarang area. Based on the investigation, the police arrested 12 people, four adults and eight children," he explained.

Anwar explained that after questioning, four people were named as suspects, one adult and three children. 

Anwar further explained that the police are still hunting for the 17 perpetrators who have been listed as fugitives, consisting of seven people from the Semarang group, and 10 people from the Kendal group.
