Inp.polri.go.id – Natuna. The Natuna Sub-regional Police re-intensify the raid against loud exhaust at the region. The Head of the Traffic Task Force of Natuna Sub-regional Police, Police Senior Inspector Sopan says that the raid was held in front of Post Traffic Task Force 901. From the raid executed on Friday (2/2/2024), his party has secured three loud exhausts used by motorbike drivers. The aim of the operation is to nurture public security and order in the area. Furthermore, Sopan states that the operation was going well and accordingly. Other than upholding the law against the loud exhaust user, members at the field also educate the society against the use of the exhaust. They state that the use of loud exhaust has been prohibited as was stated in Law No 22 of 2009 concerning Traffic and Transportation. “We implore the local community not to use exhaust that does not comply with technical specifications considering that the exhaust have knowingly disturbs social order and comfort,” conclude Sopan.
