inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. The Director of Community Development Lampung Regional Police, Senior Superintendent A.F. Indra Napitupulu, urged youth organizations to not only be active in social activities but also to act as watchdogs in the community.

The Lampung National Youth Movement (KNPI) stated its readiness to support the Community Policing Belt (Kalmtibmas) program implemented by the Lampung Regional Police. 

The youth organization is also ready to assist the police in combating online gambling, drugs, and the practice of illegal fuel hoarding, which has recently drawn public complaints. 

Iqbal Ardiansyah, Chairman of the Lampung KNPI Regional Executive Board (DPD), stated that his organization wants to collaborate with the police further. 

In addition to discussing security collaboration, the meeting also highlighted issues of juvenile delinquency, such as brawls and wars between youth groups, which are considered increasingly worrying.

The Director of Community Policing at the Lampung Regional Police requested that all youth organizations actively participate in providing education in their respective communities so that young people are not easily provoked or fall into drug addiction. 

The police also urged the public to immediately report any drug abuse, online gambling, or illegal fuel hoarding to the police, village officials, or just by simply calling the 110.

Lampung Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Yuni Iswandari Yuyun, stated that the involvement of youth organizations is a crucial step in maintaining security and stability in Lampung.

"The young generations should not just be spectators. They must be present and be part of the solution to maintain a conducive public order and security situation," Yuni said.

According to her, collaboration with KNPI is a concrete step in strengthening social oversight at the community level.

"We cannot work alone. The support of youth organizations is essential to prevent drugs, online gambling, and social conflict in the community," she said.
