Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police examines five experts on former Agriculture Minister extortion allegations by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chair. Police states one of the experts are micro expression expert. “In involving experts, there are five experts that we have examined, one of them are experts in micro expression,” says Metro Jaya Special Criminal Investigation Director, Grand Commissioner Ade Safri Simanjuntak quoted from Metrotvnews on Monday (11/6/2023). He explains that the micro expression expert was asked to analyze a person’s behavior who allegedly involved in the extortion case. Ade also states that police have examined 72 witnesses so far during the investigation process and the five experts among the 72 are three criminal experts, a micro expression expert and a procedural law expert. The investigators of Sub-directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of Criminal Corruption Unit has released additional summoning letter to the KPK Chair Firli Bahuri on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023. Previously, the investigators have examined the key officials of KPK in Criminal Investigation Unit HQ at the 6th floor on October 24th, 2023, Tuesday. The results of the investigation is that Firli admits have met with Syahrul Yasin Limpo at Tangki Sports Arena, Sawah Besar, West Jakarta on March 2022. So far, police have not given any details on what Firli and SYL have been talking about, or the nominal of the extortion money. Police have also examined two Firli’s house in South Jakarta and South Bekasi on October 26th, 2023. Police have also secured several electronic documents which are now being analyzed at Forensic Laboratory Center. (ad/fa/pr/nm)
