inp.polri.go.id - Head of General Information of National Police, Commissioner Nurul Azizah stated that the Police is ready to secure the G20 Summit that will be held in Bali. According to her, securing the G20 is a concrete proof of police supporting government's program who made the economical recovery and tourism as their main focus.
"Bali also become one of the Government's target in National Economic Recovery program. Pesona Bali also becomes more even proud, particularly after Bali was chosen as the host of G20 Summit. To made the program successful, it is necessary to provide full attention to the security and order, and we are here for it," said Commissioner Nurul Azizah.
Regarding providing the security, the police will use preemptive, preventive, and represive approach or by upholding the law. They will also divided each personnel to zones, and inside the zones there will be rings.
"Bali Police involved 11 Task Force in their effort in securing the side events of G20. The Task Force aims to secure the entrance and the field trips of the delegations," said Commissioner Nurul Azizah.
In carrying out security operations, the police will also coordinates with other institutions, such as the Indonesian Army. "During the events, Regional Military Commander IX/Udayana, and other related institutions will hand in hand prepare all the preparations and we have already established Security Task Force and Evacuation Task Force as our anticipation to natural disasters that could have happened anytime,” stated Commissioner Nurul.
