inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. Personnel from the C Pioneer Battalion of the Jambi Regional Police Mobile Brigade Corps once again moved swiftly to handle wildfire in Tebo Regency.

The extinguishing operation began at 12:00 PM and was completed, led by Police Senior Inspector Marulitua Sinaga.

This effort was carried out as a form of rapid response by the police to prevent the fires from spreading and minimize their impact on the community and the environment.

The Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Erlan Munaji, stated that they, including the Satbrimob, continue to increase their preparedness and act quickly whenever they receive information about hotspots.

"We remain committed to handling forest and land fires quickly and measurably. Our personnel in the field are not only extinguishing the fires, but also working to prevent the fires from spreading and threatening residential areas and community activities," said Erlan.

Erlan added that synergy between the police, local governments, communities, and all relevant stakeholders is crucial in addressing potential forest and land fires, especially in fire-prone weather conditions.

"We urge the public not to clear land by burning and to immediately report any hotspots. Early prevention is key to controlling forest and land fires and preventing them from escalating," concluded the Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Regional Police.
