Inp.polri.go.id - West Java. A traffic accident occured in Tarogong - Leles in Haruman Village, Garut Regency at 13.00 pm on Saturday (1/25/2025). The accident involved a minivan, five motorcycles, and one Avanza car.

The Head of West Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Jules Abraham explains the accident occurred when the minivan going from Tarogong to Leles lost its control during downill turn.

The minivan, going to the opposite side of the road, hits five motorcycles and one Avanza car. A total of nine people were injured in the accident.

"Garut Sub-regional PoliceTraffic Unit have done the evacuation at the location as the victims were treated at the hospital," says Jule Abraham on Saturday (1/25/2025).

Jules says his party has also conducted an investigation at the location. Several witnesses have also been questioned in search of the whole chronology of the accident.

"For the traffic flow, we have taken it under control and people are urged to be careful when driving and continue to comply with the traffic laws. Also make sure your vehicle is in good condition," appeal Jules.
