inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police has prepared a security plan for Eid al-Fitr prayers in Jakarta and its surrounding areas.
Security is focused on several mosques that will be the main locations for Eid al-Fitr prayers to ensure that people can pray safely and orderly.
Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri, stated that his team has mapped at least 133 mosques that will hold Eid al-Fitr prayers within the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police's jurisdiction.
Of these, 10 mosques will be the primary focus of security, while 123 other mosques will also receive security from officers.
"Security is focused on the 10 main mosques and 123 other mosques holding Eid al-Fitr prayers within our jurisdiction," said Asep Edi Suheri.
In addition to places of worship, police have also prepared security at several vital locations expected to experience increased public activity during Eid al-Fitr holiday. This includes train stations, bus terminals, airports, ports, and central economic areas.
