inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. The Bandung Sub-regional City Police, West Java, are providing a shuttle service for people traveling or returning home at night as an effort to improve security and prevent street crime in the Bandung Regency area.

Bandung Sub-regional City Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Aldi Subartono, said that people who are worried about traveling at night or early morning can call the emergency services number 110. Officers will arrive at the location and escort them to their destination in a patrol vehicle.

"People who need assistance can call 110. A patrol car or police officer will be there to escort them home," he said in Bandung on Friday (7/31/2026).

He stated that this service is part of the preventive measures that they continue to strengthen through routine patrols.

"We are very active in our preventive patrols. Patrol cars are always on duty to provide a sense of security and comfort to the public," he said.

In addition to strengthening patrols, the Bandung Sub-regional City Police also continue to take action against street crime perpetrators, including uncovering a robbery case that occurred in the Majalaya area.

According to Aldi, the preventive approach and law enforcement are carried out simultaneously to reduce crime rates and provide a sense of security to the public, especially for workers who work late into the night or early morning.

He urged the public not to hesitate to use police services if they need assistance returning home late at night or encounter potential security disturbances in their neighborhood.
