The investigator of Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Unit along with North Sumatra Regional Police Unit uncovers illegal practice of subsidized Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) mixing. The investigators then raided one of the warehouses where the LPG was stored in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.
The North Sumatra Police Public Relations Chief, Grand Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi says the joint team of INP Criminal Investigation Unit and North Sumatra Regional Police have confiscated 80 hose syringe, scales, notebook, 400 3 kg LPG cylinders, 100 12 kg LPG cylinders. Then, 40 50 kg LPG cylinders and the Colt Diesel L300 car contains 10 50 kg cylinders, and 20 12 kg cylinders. During the confiscation, police also arrest dozens of suspects inside the warehouse.
“Suspect transferred the LPG in the 3 kg cylinders to the 12 kg and 50 kg non-subsidized cylinders,” says Hadi quoted from Antara on Tuesday (10/24/2023).
On this case, Hadi says that investigators also arrest the main three perpetrators with the initials of ZN, PM, and JS.
“Currently suspect are being examined by INP Criminal Investigation Unit in North Sumatra Police HQ,” explains Hadi.
