inp.polri.go.id – The Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Mandailing Natal Police arrested a rickshaw driver who was delivering a package, who turns out to be a package of marijuana, to the bus to be sent to Lampung Province. The package weighing 19 kg. The Mandailing Natal Police Chief, AKBP Muhammad Reza Chairul Akbar Sidiq explains that the rickshaw driver was a dry canabis courier. The courier initialed MR (19), and he was arrested at Sumatra-Padang Cross Road on Tuesday (6/9). “The canabis was about to be sent to Lampung. The drug network is allegedly being controlled by someone from inside the prison. We are still conducting an investigation to that allegation,” explained AKBP Muhammad Reza Chairul Akbar Sidiq. The suspect, MR, stated that he got the items from someone initialed SM, a resident of East Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal. “SM is now being pursued by us,” said Mandailing Natal Police Chief. The Police will charged MR with Article 155 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 144 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 111 paragraph (2) RI Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Drugs Abuse.
