The two young men are 21-year-old MS and 18-year-old WA, who are from Matuari District in Bitung City. Allegedly, the weapons were about to be sold. Head of Public Relations of the North Sulawesi Police, Commissioner Jules Abraham Abast, said the two young men were caught by officers on a routine patrol. "At that time, in the area of Kairagi Satu Village, officers who were on patrol saw these two young men get off the motorbike with suspicious packages. And sure enough, when they were examined, the packages contained sharp weapons," said the Head of Public Relations. The Head of Public Relations explained that the sharp weapon of the badik knife has a length of approximately 60 centimeters with a wooden handle. "The two perpetrators along with the evidence of two sharp weapons, a motorbike, and also two cellphones were secured at the Manado Police Headquarters for further investigation," explained the Head of Public Relations.
