inp.polri.go.id - West Kalimantan. The West Kalimantan Regional Police Drugs Criminal Investigation Directorate has again destroyed 19,953.60 grams of crystal methamphetamine evidence on Thursday (3/13/2025).
The meth, says the Head of Drug Criminal Investigation Sub-Directorate 1, Superintendent Bernawis, was seized from a drug case which involves four suspects.
βOn Friday, February 28th, 2025, a joint team stopped two motorbikes ridden by HN and Fe on Poros street of the Private Oil Palm Plantation owned by a resident in Badau Batu Putih Village,β says Bernawis.
After stopping the two motorbikes, police then conduct a search and found 2 (two) large gray backpacks, each containing 8 plastic packages of gold GUANYINWANG tea containing the drugs and 1 small gray bag containing 4 plastic packages of gold GUANYINWANG tea, also containing the meth.
HN and FE admitted that the illicit goods belonged to JT and PT, which the police then followed up. After further investigation, the team succeeded in arresting JT and PT at the Badau Health Center intersection bridge.
"The four people admitted that the goods were received from ABD and WRT who are in Malaysia and it was ABD who ordered the four of them to bring the crystal methamphetamine from Malaysia to Indonesia. The plan was that the crystal methamphetamine would be handed over to someone whose identity is yet unknown and the plan was to take it to Palu, Central Sulawesi,β explains Bernawis.
The case disclosure demonstrates police commitment in their war against drugs to protect the young generations from its dangers.
