inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The South Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police is strengthening its preparedness to face potential disturbances to public order and security and terror threats through a Command Headquarters Security System simulation.
South Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Head of Operations, Superintendent Tribuana Roseno, stated that the simulation aims to ensure personnel are prepared to protect the command headquarters, its assets, and the surrounding area.
"This simulation is a security activity to secure the headquarters, assets, and personnel from threats such as disturbances to public order and security or terror. This is a form of our preparedness in case of any untoward incident," explained Tribuana on Wednesday (April 8, 2026).
In the simulation, the South Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Department deployed approximately 700 personnel, or approximately two-thirds of its total strength.
In addition to involving police personnel, this activity also involved community members such as community organizations, online motorcycle taxi drivers, and other community elements.
"We cannot act alone in maintaining public order and security. We are also engaging the community to help maintain security, especially in South Jakarta," he said.
Tribuana added that security is focused on protecting the headquarters, including assets, personnel, and the surrounding environment from various potential threats.
This simulation is a contingency activity as a precautionary measure against the dynamics of the global situation that could potentially impact domestic security.
