Metro Jaya Regional Police finally release their statement regarding the possibility of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chair Firli Bahuri as the suspect of Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) extortion case. The Special Criminal Investigation Director of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Grand Commissioner Ade Safri Simanjuntak says that his party did not want to take chances with the possibility. “I guarantee that all investigation process is done professionally and we have sent supervision letter to KPK as proof of our transparency,” says Ade on Saturday (10/28/2023). On the other hand, the Sub-directorate of Corruption Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya Police is currently investigating the extortion case by KPK chair to former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo. It is known that in this case, investigators used Article 12 letter e or Article 12 letter B, or Article 11 of the Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 65 of the Criminal Code. (ad/ri/pr/nm)
