Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) have uncovered another case involving the distribution of lewd content via a Facebook group, as the Gresik Sub-regional Police made an arrest following a report about explicit posts in the group.
"We will not tolerate misuse of digital platforms to spread content that damages public morals and social values," said INP Public Relations Division Head of Public Information Senior Superintendent Erdi A. Chaniago on Friday (23/5/2025). "This proves our commitment to monitoring and addressing cyber misconduct."
The suspect, identified as IDGAMU, served as the administrator of a group originally named “Cinta Sedarah (Incest Love),” later changed to “Suka Duka (Ups and Down)”.
Police seized the mobile phone used to manage the group, which had over 32,000 members and had been active since 2022, according to antaranews.com
The investigation continues with support from East Java Regional Police’s Cyber Directorate and the Prosecutor’s Office.
The INP has earlier named six suspects for allegedly managing and uploading incest-related content in another Facebook group.
