Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The  Tangerang City Sub-regional Police have dismantled a synthetic drug distribution network operating through social media orders and package deliveries. 

“This method was carried out by four suspects across different districts,” said Tangerang City Police Chief Senior Superintendent Andi Muhammad Indra Waspada Amirullah on Thursday (28/5/2026). He confirmed large quantities of synthetic drugs were seized during the operation.

The four suspects, identified as MS, SFA, MK, and GPA, were arrested in separate raids across Tangerang, Jakarta, and South Tangerang.

Investigators found 155.88 grams of synthetic tobacco at suspect MS’s residence and later intercepted a package disguised in fast-food packaging containing 65.58 grams. Subsequent raids uncovered over two kilograms of synthetic tobacco, production equipment, and 1.1 kilograms of solid synthetic drugs along with liquid spray narcotics.

The suspects face charges under Ithe Narcotics Law and Criminal Code, carrying penalties of life imprisonment or 5 to 20 years in prison.
