inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Police Women Negotiators from the Mass Control Sub-Directorate of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police secured a public rally in the South Monas Crossing area, Central Jakarta. 

The security was led by the Head of Negotiation Section of the Mass Control Sub-directorate, Police Assistant Superintendent Sri Ernawati, with her personnel.

The presence of police personnel in the field is part of their efforts to ensure that the rally runs safely and conducively. During the activity, personnel employed a persuasive approach and built good communication with the protesters.

In addition to providing public order and security appeals, personnel also did service to the protesters. The Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, stated that the presence of police negotiators demonstrates their commitment to providing the best possible service to the public.

"We are here to serve and protect the public. In every public protest, we prioritize a soft, persuasive, and professional approach so that the protest can proceed safely," he said on Thursday (6/18/2026).

He added that all personnel on duty have been instructed to remain composure, prioritize communication, and not be easily provoked. 

"We also urge all protesters to maintain order, respect all drivers on the road, and express their aspirations peacefully," he said.
