inp.polri.go.id – The Police carried out the slaughter of sacrificial animals on Eid al-Adha 1443 Hijri. This activity is a form of sincerity from all of the personnel. "This activity is in accordance with the theme and values of sacrifice and sincerity, where it can be our dedication and realizing precise personnel," said National Police Chief (Kapolri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo after handing over sacrificial animals symbolically at the Bhayangkara Field at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Sunday (10/7/2022). He said that there were 112 sacrificial animals to be slaughtered, consists of 110 cows and 2 goats "Then of course (the sacrificial animals) will be distributed to nearby mosques, then to the mosques in the (Polri) dormitories, and some Islamic boarding schools," he said. He hoped that this activity could serve as a role model for police personnel in following the story of Prophet Ibrahim, who at that time was tested by Allah SWT to slaughter his only son, Ismail. "Surely then this becomes an example for all of us to continue to increase our piety to God Almighty, Allah SWT," he concluded.
