inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The National Police (Polri) recently has opened a complaint hotline for people who feel aggrieved by the robot trading scam. To date, Polri have received 246 complaints via WhatsApp and Instagram direct message (DM),
Polri urged the other victims who have not reported yet to immediately contact them.
"Feel free to complain to us directly via the hotline that we have provided. Currently, 246 people have contacted us via WA or Instagram DM," stated the Head of the Public Information Division (Kabag Penum) of the Public Relations Division (Divisi Humas) of Polri, Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, S.I.K., Monday (21/3/22).
Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko said that the public can also report their complaints by going to the nearest police station.
"You can report the case directly to your nearest police station, and the local police will follow up and coordinate it with the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim)," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division.
The police proactively continued in investigating criminal acts of fraudulent investment under the guise of stock trading, by opening a complaint hotline. This was conveyed by the Director of Economic and Special Crimes (Dir Tipideksus) of Polri, Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan in a written statement, Friday (18/3/22).
"Access to this hotline is opened for victims of trading robots and binary options scam. You can contact us via WhatsApp with the number 081213227296 or through social media Instagram with the account @posko_robottrad_binary_option_dittipideksus," he wrote.
