Ahead of the holy month of Ramadhan, which is in early April 2022, the Head of the North Maluku Provincial Police (Kapolda Malut) Inspector General Risyapudin Nursin, S.I.K., guarantees that the stock of nine basic commodities (Sembako) in North Maluku, including cooking oil, will be enough for the society. "We have already checked the availability of daily supply, especially cooking oil, and I assure you there will be no shortage," said Kapolda Malut, Monday (21/3/22). Kapolda Malut said that currently cooking oil stocks will still be available for the next two weeks and during the holy month of Ramadhan, and the Trade Service of each district and city will continue to monitor the stocks. "There will be supervision from each Trade Service office in each district and city," said Kapolda Malut. Other than that, Kapolda Malut also stated that he would also mobilize a task force that had been formed at each Polda in Indonesia, including in North Maluku. "We will also help so that the availability of cooking oil stocks in North Maluku can be maintained," he said. Currently, Polda Malut has mapped the sale of cooking oil. "We have given them their last warning and if there are still violations regarding this, the Ternate City Government, which is backed up by us, will act firmly against it," concluded Polda Malut.
