Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. Jakarta Popsivo Polwan displayed remarkable resilience by overcoming an early deficit to defeat Jakarta Electric PLN Mobile 3-1 (21-25, 27-25, 25-19, 25-18) during the Proliga 2026 Final Four in Semarang, Central Java on Saturday night (18/4/2026).

"We focused on instilling confidence in the players after a tough start, and that mental strength allowed us to regain control and win the match," said Darko Dobriskov, the Head Coach of Jakarta Popsivo Polwan, following the victory at GOR Jatidiri stadium., as cited by antaranews.com. 

Electric PLN initially dominated the first set through aggressive plays by Neriman Ozsoy, but the momentum shifted in the second set as Popsivo’s foreign duo, Yonkaira Pena and Malwina Smarzek, found their rhythm during a tense deuce finish. 

Popsivo maintained their disciplined defense and sharp serving through the final two sets, capitalizing on Electric PLN's errors to seal the game. Although the result did not alter the standings, both teams utilized the high-intensity match to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the third-place playoffs in Yogyakarta next week.
