inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto reminded the people that amid the escalating war in the Gulf region and the Middle East, national unity and harmony are the primary assets for maintaining the sovereignty and integrity of Indonesia.

"President Prabowo Subianto also highlighted the current global situation, characterized by uncertainty and various challenges that could threaten global peace. In facing these conditions, he emphasized that Indonesia must continue to strengthen unity and harmony as the primary assets for facing various global challenges," explained Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Wednesday (3/11/2026).

President Prabowo then reiterated his position in responding to the escalation in the Middle East, namely protecting all Indonesians and maintaining the nation's integrity.

"He reiterated his responsibility as head of state to protect all Indonesians and maintain the nation's integrity," said Teddy.

As is known, the United States and Israel launched a series of attacks on targets inside Iran, including Tehran, on February 28, 2026. These attacks targeted several strategic locations, such as missile facilities and oil refineries.

Iran responded with missile attacks on Israeli territory and US military facilities in the Middle East as an act of self-defense. As of March 5, 2026, 1,230 Iranians had been killed by US and Israeli attacks.
