Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has reiterated that all personnel within the military and police force are obligated to ensure the successful implementation of President Prabowo Subianto’s strategic national programs.
"The TNI and INP are strictly obligated to protect these programs to ensure their effective execution," he said during a joint Iftar gathering at the INP Headquarters on Wednesday evening (11/3/2026).
The Chief highlighted the President's dual focus on global peace through the Board of Peace (BoP) and domestic economic resilience amidst international geopolitical volatility.
Heexplained that the security forces serve as a primary pillar in safeguarding national priority agendas, including the Asta Cita initiatives, food security, and energy independence. He noted that the police and military are directly involved in practical food security efforts, such as large-scale rice and corn cultivation, to stabilize the domestic supply chain.
Chief Sigit also underscored the importance of supporting industrial downstreaming and the Nutritious Free Meal (MBG) program aimed at enhancing human resource quality.
