President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo has inaugurated General Agus Subiyanto as the Commander of the Indonesian Military  in a ceremony held at the State Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (22/11/23). General Agus took the oath of office, pledging allegiance to the 1945 Constitution, and committing to upholding all laws and regulations in the service of the nation. The presidential decree for the appointment, numbered 102/TNI/2023, served as the legal basis for the event, outlining the termination and subsequent appointment of the Commander of the Indonesian Military. Following the inauguration, President Jokowi proceeded to appoint the new members of the Advisory Council and Central Leadership of the Indonesian Legion. The inauguration was witnessed by key figures, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives Puan Maharani, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, and State Secretary Minister Pratikno, as well as the Chief of Indonesian National Police  INP  General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Air Force Chief of Staff Air Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo, and Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Muhammad Ali.
