Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo welcomed ten new ambassadors during an official ceremony at the Merdeka Palace on Thursday (8/8/2024).
The ceremony began with a national anthem performance on the palace's terrace before the ambassadors entered the Merdeka Palace to meet President Jokowi and presented their Letters of Credence from their respective governments.
The new ambassadors are Brigadier General (Ret.) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir from Brunei Darussalam, Dagmar Gonzales Grau from Cuba, Mohamed Trabelsi from Tunisia, Sergei G Tolchenov from Russia, Tanya Dimitrova from Bulgaria, Simon Namiss from Papua New Guinea, Kamala Shirin Lakhdhir from the United States, Darius Gaidys from Lithuania (based in Singapore), Biljana Stefanovska from North Macedonia (based in Canberra), and Marko Ham from Slovenia (based in Canberra).
