Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Sunday (18/11/23) at 3.10 am, concluding his diplomatic visits to Saudi Arabia and the United States.
Among those welcoming President Jokowi at Soekarno-Hatta Airport were State Secretary Pratikno, Indonesian Military Commander Admiral Yudo Margono, Chief of INP Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Acting Governor of Banten Al Muktabar.
During his visit to Saudi Arabia, President Jokowi participated in the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Riyadh on Saturday (11/11). In his address, he urged the OIC to unite and take the lead in resolving the crisis in Gaza, Palestine.
Addressing U.S. President Joe Biden at the White House in Washington D.C., USA, on Monday (13/11), President Jokowi conveyed a message of justice and humanity for the Palestinian people.
"I really hope the U.S. can show its leadership and be at the forefront to defend justice and humanity for the Palestinian people, for peace and Palestinian independence based on a two-state solution," said President Jokowi.
President Jokowi reiterated similar messages at the APEC Summit in San Francisco, USA, on Friday (17/11). During the summit, he urged APEC leaders to halt the war, expedite the ceasefire, and ensure the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
Accompanying President Jokowi on the return flight from San Francisco, USA, were Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, Military Secretary to the President Admiral Hersan, Commander of Presidential Security Force Major General Rafael Granada Baay, and Acting Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media at the Presidential Secretariat M. Yusuf Permana.
