Accompanied by key ministers, including Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, President Jokowi embarked from Halim Station in East Jakarta, with the final destination being Padalarang Station in Bandung, West Java.
This high-speed train is set to drastically reduce travel time between the two cities, with the journey from Halim Station to Padalarang Station taking approximately 30 minutes.
President Jokowi further tested the Feeder Train, connecting Padalarang Station to Bandung Station.
Joining the entourage were notable public figures, including Raffi Ahmad, Yuni Shara, Cak Lontong, Gading Marteen, and Asri Welas, Vino G. Bastian, Marsha Timothy, and Armand Maulana.
The KCJB is scheduled for official inauguration and operation on October 1, 2023.
