Head of Jambi Police Chief, Inspector General Rusdi Hartono continued their social activity by distributing clean water to community affected by drought in Sebapo, Mestong, Muaro Jambi, Tuesday (9/12/2023). “Jambi Police is consistent in providing clean water for the community affected by the drought. Yesterday we helped the people of Paal Merah, Jambi City, and now we came here to help the people of Sebapo Village,” said Rusdi. He stated that Sebapo community has been complaining for the drought that has been happening for this month. It was reported that the wells are empty with water and people had to go to the river, which is far from the village, to fetch for some water. “Police has the resource such as tactical vehicle to distribute clean water for the community. We will keep continuing this social activity,” Rusdi said. In delivering clean water, police had to use four tactical vehicles, able to carry 24,000 liters of clean water, and sent it directly to houses and religious places in need of water. Other than Sebapo Village, there are also Seroja Village, and Kenanga Village.
