Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo has ordered ministers, agency heads, and state leaders to take immediate action against corruption and illegal levies within government institutions.

Speaking before the House of Representatives (DPR) in Jakarta on Wednesday (20/5/2026), he stressed that bureaucracy must operate cleanly to support national economic growth.

“I remind all ministers and leaders to clean their institutions without hesitation. Violators must face action,” the President said, as reported by antaranews.com.

He emphasized that no civil servant is irreplaceable if found guilty of misconduct.

The government plans strict sanctions, including dismissal of officials proven to abuse authority. President Prabowo also urged regional leaders to conduct internal clean-ups and highlighted the use of advanced monitoring technology, including satellite and underground radar, to detect hidden assets and illegal wealth.

He acknowledged challenges posed by rogue officers protecting offenders and called on citizens to document and report misconduct. The President affirmed most civil servants uphold integrity, but firm measures are needed against those damaging public trust.
