inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto ensured that the development of Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in East Kalimantan will continue until the end of his terms in 2029.
Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) conveyed the President's firm stance after a closed meeting discussing the IKN at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday (2/3/2025).
"Regarding the IKN, this has also been confirmed to be continued and he (the President) himself has also ensured that there will be a budget allocation of approximately IDR 48.8 trillion (for the period) 2025 to 2029," said Coordinating Minister AHY on Tuesday (2/4/2025).
In the meeting that lasted for approximately 3 hours, President Prabowo summoned Coordinating Minister AHY, Head of the IKN Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Public Works (PU) Dodi Hanggodo, Deputy Minister of PU Diana Kusumastuti and OIKN Special Staff for Development Planning Imam Santoso Ernawi for a meeting to discuss the development of the IKN.
President Prabowo and his ministers along with the Head of OIKN discussed the basic design of the area's development.
"So there are several adjustments that obviously would take some time and hopefully it won't be long before it can be finalized," said Coordinating Minister AHY.
The Head of OIKN also ensured that the budget allocated for OIKN this year remains at the figure approved by President Prabowo, which is IDR 14.4 trillion. The allocation of funds is part of the 2025-2029 IKN budget of IDR 48.8 trillion.
