Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Orly Airport in Paris on Tuesday (26/5/2026) at 10 am local time to begin his official state visit aimed at enhancing Indonesia-France strategic relations.
Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya said President Prabowo was welcomed by French Labor and Solidarity Minister Jean-Pierre Farandou, an honor guard, and hundreds of Indonesian citizens.
“This marks the start of President Prabowo’s state visit to France, scheduled since last year but postponed several times,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The Cabinet Secretary noted Indonesia’s growing strategic cooperation with France, emphasizing the visit’s importance in strengthening Indonesia’s position in Europe. Before official events, President Prabowo is scheduled to perform Eid al-Adha prayers and meet Indonesians at the Indonesian Embassy residence in Paris.
Deputy State Secretary Juri Ardiantoro confirmed Prabowo departed Jakarta on Monday and will remain in France until Wednesday, adjusting Eid observances to local conditions.
